When are you open?
We are open year round! The Inn is open seven days a week and the RESTAURANT is open Thursdays-Mondays from 3pm-8pm-ish or by special event reservations. Don’t worry- breakfast for overnight guests is served in the sunroom every day. Check out our Hosting your event | Edelweiss Inn Nova Scotia page
Do I need to make a reservation?
Restaurant reservations are recommended and easy to do on our Table Reservation page. Overnight stay reservations are required and can easily be done on our 'Book a room' tab or follow this link: Room Rates & Availability (webrez.com)
Do you offer gluten free or vegetarian options?
Yes we do. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs and allergies. Just let us know in advance if you have special requests.
What are your room rates?
Room rates vary depending on size and features. Standard room rates range from $128 - $198 per night per couple. That price also includes a delightful breakfast for 2 the next morning. What is your cancellation policy?
For a refund on prepaid rooms the cancellation needs to be earlier than 5 days prior to check in. A $25 cancellation administration fee may be charged. If cancellation is last minute (made between 5 days and check in date) then the full rate will be charged. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is available for overnight guests. Please let us know what time you might like to eat breakfast. Typically it is available between 7:30-9:30 but we can accommodate special requests to suite your schedule. We can also provide breakfast to go or leave a selection for you in your room mini fridge the night prior.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, we are pleased to offer high-speed fibre optic wifi.
Do you allow pets?
The little chalet and Suites 8 & 9 are all pet friendly units (Up to two pets). There is an additional $25 cleaning fee per pet.
Do you have adjoining rooms?
Rooms 1 to 6 are located in the same wing on the second floor. On the third level Suite 8 offers a bedroom with queen size bed and a couch in the sitting room which is suitable for a third person. Contact us directly to learn more.
How many people can sleep in the chalet?
Both Room 8 and the little chalet are set up with one queen size bed and a couch long enough for a 3rd person to sleep on with a $40 charge for the third person. Connect with us directly to learn about multiple room discounts.
Is there a hot tub or a sauna on site?
There is no hot tub on site but Suite 9 offers a large soaker tub. The chalet offers a sauna for 2.
Do you have king size beds?
Room 5 has 2 single beds which we could push together for an almost king size width. And we have kings size sheets and blankets available.
Do you have air conditioning in the rooms?
We do not have air conditioning in the rooms, however being very close to the Bay of Fundy the nights are very cool, excellent for sleeping. Each room has a small fan and a balcony, with the balcony door open it brings in a lovely breeze from the bay. The average temperature at night is 14 degrees celsius.
Do you have a room with two beds?
Yes, room 5 has two single beds. Suite 8 has a queen size bed in bedroom and comfortable couch for one person in the living area. The chalet is a tiny one room house with a queen size bed and a couch for a third person. Contact us directly to learn about multiple room discounts.
Do you have cots or baby cribs?
No. The minimum age for the rooms in the main building is 11years and most room are set up for two people. The chalet is suitable for any age and has a comfortable couch for 3rd person/child but we do have cribs available.
